Macromedia Fireworks 1.0

In April 1998, Macromedia released the Macromedia Fireworks 1.0 raster and vector graphics editor.

Macromedia Fireworks 1.0 was the first graphics tool designed specially for web designers. Fireworks 1.0 included features such as JavaScript rollover effects, image slicing, export preview and optimization, animation tools, creating image maps, excellent text control or vector tool flexibility with an organic bitmap look.
